Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Carimeet (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Eligibility Requirements

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have reached the age of legal majority in your country of residence
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a contract
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Description of Service

Carimeet is an online booking and calendar management platform that allows service providers ("Calendar Owners") to manage appointments and customers to book services. The Service includes features for booking management, payment processing, notifications, and related functionalities.

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we deem inappropriate or harmful to the Service or other users.

Bookings and Payments

Booking Process

• Bookings are subject to availability
• You must provide accurate contact information
• Confirmation emails will be sent to the provided email address
• You are responsible for attending appointments or canceling within the specified timeframe

Payments

• Payment terms are set by individual Calendar Owners
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• You agree to pay all fees and charges at the time of booking
• Refund policies are determined by individual Calendar Owners

Cancellations

Cancellation policies vary by service provider. Please review the specific cancellation policy before making a booking. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in charges or restrictions on future bookings.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Scrape, crawl, or copy content without permission
• Make false or fraudulent bookings
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Calendar Owner Responsibilities

If you are a Calendar Owner, you agree to:

• Provide accurate service descriptions and pricing
• Honor confirmed bookings or provide adequate notice of changes
• Maintain professional conduct with customers
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including GDPR
• Keep your calendar availability up to date
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Process refunds according to your stated policies

Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Carimeet and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services (payment processors, email providers, etc.). Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services.

Disclaimers

Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We strive to ensure maximum availability but cannot guarantee a specific uptime rate.

Service Provider Relationships

Carimeet acts as a platform connecting customers with service providers. We do not provide the services directly and are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Calendar Owners.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Carimeet for any damages related to your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have actually paid to Carimeet in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability. In no event shall Carimeet be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

These limitations do not apply in cases of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury, in accordance with French law.

Force Majeure

Carimeet shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, wars, acts of terrorism, strikes, power or telecommunications outages, third-party provider failures, or any other force majeure circumstances as defined under Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Carimeet from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or infringement of any rights of another party.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be subject to an attempt at amicable resolution. For this purpose, you may contact us at support@carimeet.fr. If mediation fails within 60 days, disputes shall be governed by the laws of France and submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

Subscription and Fees

Calendar Owners may be subject to subscription fees:

• Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually depending on the chosen plan
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
• Refunds are not provided for partial subscription periods, except when exercising the right of withdrawal
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not accept the new Terms, you may terminate your account.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a competent court, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Carimeet regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
